In the Metropolitan Boston area, residents continue to be negatively impacted by the high cost of housing and the lack of available housing subsidies. Metro Housing|Boston staff can provide assistance with:

  • Navigating a sometimes complicated and confusing housing system.
  • Understanding your rights.

As part of Metro Housing|Boston’s mission to help individuals and families find and retain decent, affordable housing, a listing service is provided at no charge to both tenants and property owners.

As a condition of using this listing service, brokers, salespersons and other property owner representatives may not charge prospective tenants any fees (such as holding and processing fees and other fees unrelated to the leasing process) for apartments listed here. Prospective tenants are advised not to pay any fees for this free service. If you are asked to pay such fees, please contact Property Owner Services Manager Jennifer Shaw at jennifer.shaw@MetroHousingBoston.org or 617.425.6637 as soon as possible.
