The Massachusetts Learning Employment and Asset Program (MassLEAP) connects MRVP voucher holders to career, education and finance coaches from Jewish Vocational Service to attain their goals toward personal and professional development.
Mass LEAP can connect you with job training programs, credit repair resources, assistance with enrolling in a degree program or finishing one and securing employment to increase your earned income.
As your earned income increases, an escrow amount is calculated based on the increase in income and subsequent increase in your portion of rent. This amount is deposited by Metro Housing|Boston into a Mass LEAP escrow account. When you graduate from the program, the funds in the escrow account are available to you to use toward things like homeownership or higher education. You may be able to keep your MRVP voucher even after you graduate from Mass LEAP.
If you have a MRVP voucher in good-standing with Metro Housing|Boston and have a child under the age of 18, you are eligible for Mass LEAP regardless of your educational level, work experience, or current employment status.
